Ingredients
  

Cookie Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 1/2 cup fruit jam any flavor

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  • Gradually add the flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Use your thumb to make an indentation in the center of each cookie and fill with jam.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Try different jam flavors like raspberry, apricot, or strawberry for variety.
