Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the Whoppers candy, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Baking
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
Don’t overmix to prevent tough brownies. Use good quality cocoa for better flavor. Experiment with mix-ins as desired. Check for doneness by ensuring the brownies are set around the edges but slightly soft in the center, and let them cool for cleaner slices.
