  • 1 cup Rolled oats The base of your overnight oats.
  • 1 cup Milk Use dairy or your favorite non-dairy alternative.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Adds protein and creaminess.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract For extra flavor.
Sweeteners and toppings
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup Adjust based on the sweetness of strawberries.
  • 1 cup Fresh strawberries Use ripe, juicy strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds Optional, adds thickness and Omega-3s.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Stir well to combine.
  2. Add honey or maple syrup to sweeten according to your taste. Mix until everything is well blended.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped strawberries, reserving a few slices for topping later.
  4. Pour the mixture into individual jars or containers with lids.
  5. Seal the jars and place them in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serving
  1. In the morning, give your oats a good stir and top with extra strawberry slices, a drizzle of honey, or nuts for crunch.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can freeze the base mixture without toppings too. For warm oats, microwave the mixture for about a minute.
