Base
  • 12 slices salami thinly sliced
  • 12 mini mozzarella balls bocconcini or ciliegine size
Decoration
  • 12 slices black olives cut into rounds for pupils
  • red food coloring or hot sauce for veins effect

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Place one mozzarella ball on each slice of salami.
  2. Fold the salami around the mozzarella to form a base, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  3. Top each mozzarella ball with a slice of black olive to create the pupil.
  4. Use a toothpick dipped in red food coloring or hot sauce to draw thin veins on the mozzarella for a creepy eyeball effect.
  5. Serve chilled or at room temperature for the perfect spooky snack.

Notes
