- Stir in finely chopped red onion, diced tomato, cilantro, and salt.
- Give it a taste and adjust the salt or lime juice if needed.
- Enjoy immediately, or cover tightly to prevent browning if storing for later.
Notes
Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Pressing plastic wrap directly onto the surface minimizes browning. It can also be frozen for up to three months.
