  • 2 ripe nectarines Can substitute with peaches or plums
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Can use plain yogurt or non-dairy alternatives
  • 1-2 tbsp honey Maple syrup is a great vegan alternative
  • 1/2 cup milk Any type—dairy, almond, oat, or soy
  • 1 cup ice Skip if using frozen fruits

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the nectarines thoroughly. Slice them in half, remove the pit, and cut them into chunks.
  2. In a blender, combine the nectarines, Greek yogurt, honey, and milk.
  3. Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend on high until creamy and well combined, scraping down the sides if necessary.
  5. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with more honey if desired, then blend again.
  6. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.

Notes

For a thicker smoothie, add more yogurt or a frozen banana. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 day, or freeze for later use.
