  • 1 medium Banana Adds natural sweetness and creaminess; can substitute with avocado.
  • 1 cup Spinach Packed with vitamins; substitute with kale or omit.
  • 1 cup Almond milk Can use any plant-based milk or dairy milk.
  • 2 tablespoons Nut butter Peanut, almond, or cashew for healthy fats.
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt Adds protein; can use dairy-free yogurt.
  • 1-2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel the banana and break it into chunks to help it blend easily.
  2. Add the banana to your blender, followed by a generous handful of spinach.
  3. Pour in the almond milk and add a spoonful of nut butter.
  4. Toss in a dollop of Greek yogurt and drizzle in honey or maple syrup if desired.
  5. Break dark chocolate into pieces and add to the blender.
  6. Blend everything on high until smooth and creamy, adding more almond milk if too thick.
  7. Taste and adjust sweetness; pour into a glass and enjoy.

Notes

Use a frozen banana for a creamier texture. Feel free to add chia seeds or protein powder for extra nutrition. Always taste your smoothie before pouring.
