Ingredients

Salmon Marinade
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Main
  • 2 pieces salmon fillets skin-on, about 6 oz each
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped (optional)

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Tongs

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  4. Place salmon skin-side down on the grill. Grill for 4-5 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  5. Remove from grill and garnish with fresh dill, if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can substitute dill with parsley or chives. Serve with grilled vegetables or rice for a full meal.
