  • 2 cups Spinach You can swap it with kale if preferred.
  • 1 medium Banana Frozen bananas work great for extra chill!
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt Use dairy-free yogurt if you're vegan.
  • 1 cup Almond Milk Substitute with coconut or oat milk for different taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds Can be replaced with flax seeds if necessary.
  • to taste Honey or Maple Syrup Optional for additional sweetness.

Preparation
  1. Rinse your spinach (or kale) under cold water to remove any dirt or grit.
  2. In a blender, combine the spinach, banana, Greek yogurt, and almond milk.
  3. Toss in the chia seeds and sweetener if using.
  4. Start on a low setting and increase speed until you achieve a creamy texture.
  5. If you like it sweeter, add a bit more honey or syrup, and blend again.
  6. Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy right away!

Notes

This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. For quick smoothies, freeze leftovers in an ice cube tray and blend later.
