  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk Add sweetness and creaminess; low-fat versions can be used.

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Adds flavor; can omit if necessary.
  • 1 pinch Salt Use sea salt or kosher salt to balance sweetness.

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
  2. Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring between intervals, until smooth and melted (about 1-2 minutes total).
  3. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a lined square baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely set.
  6. Once firm, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.

Notes

Store tightly wrapped in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 2 months. Microwave for a few seconds to soften if necessary.
