Prepare Oven & Flatbread
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the naan bread on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overlapping.
Season Flatbread
- Brush the tops of the naan bread lightly with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder (if using), a pinch of salt, and black pepper.
Assemble Pizza
- Spread half of the pizza sauce evenly over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust. Distribute the fresh mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce on both flatbreads.
Bake
- Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown and slightly crispy. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.
Garnish & Serve
- Carefully remove the flatbread pizzas from the oven. Immediately scatter fresh basil leaves over the hot pizzas. Slice and serve hot.
Notes
For an extra kick, sprinkle a pinch of red pepper flakes over the cheese before baking. If you have a pizza stone, preheat it in the oven for an even crispier crust. Leftovers are best reheated in a toaster oven or air fryer for optimal crispness.
