Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups Plain yogurt Use Greek yogurt for extra protein or a dairy-free alternative if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup Honey or maple syrup Adjust to taste or swap with a sugar substitute if desired.
Add-ins
  • 1 cup Fresh fruit (like berries, bananas, or peaches) Adds natural sweetness and texture. Frozen fruit works too!
  • 1/2 cup Granola or nuts Use your favorite mix-ins, or even chocolate chips for a treat!

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather your yogurt, sweetener, and any fruit or mix-ins you plan to use. If using fresh fruit, chop it into small bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt with your sweetener and stir until well blended. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  3. Gently fold in your fresh fruit or any other toppings you've chosen.
Freezing
  1. Spoon the yogurt mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or mini muffin tins. Leave a little space at the top since they'll expand slightly when freezing.
  2. Place the molds in the freezer for at least 2-3 hours, or until completely solid.
Serving
  1. Once frozen, pop them out and store in a ziplock bag or an airtight container. Snack away and enjoy the creamy goodness!

Notes

Don’t skip the sweetener as it enhances the flavor. Experiment with additional flavors like vanilla extract or cinnamon. Use silicone molds for easy removal and avoid overfilling. Quick thawing can be done by letting them sit at room temperature for a couple of minutes.
