Prepare the Dip
- Ensure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature. This is crucial for a smooth, lump-free dip. If it's too cold, microwave it for 10-15 seconds or let it sit on the counter for at least 30 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the cream cheese until it's light and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula as needed.
- Add the entire jar of marshmallow fluff to the whipped cream cheese. Continue beating on medium speed until the marshmallow fluff and cream cheese are fully combined and smooth. This should take another 1-2 minutes. Again, scrape down the bowl frequently.
- Pour in the vanilla extract. Beat for an additional 30 seconds to ensure the vanilla is evenly distributed.
Serve and Enjoy
- Transfer the finished fruit dip to a serving bowl. Serve immediately with your favorite assortment of fresh fruits. For best results, chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving, especially if you want a slightly firmer consistency.
Notes
Storage: Leftover fruit dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
Serving Suggestion: For a thicker dip, chill it in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. You can also add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of almond extract for a slight flavor variation.
