  • 1 cup Vegan Mayonnaise ensure it's a good quality, creamy brand
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup or agave nectar, adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
Dry Spices
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt or to taste

Method
 

Combine Ingredients
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the vegan mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.
  2. Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt to the bowl with the wet ingredients.
  3. Using a whisk, vigorously combine all the ingredients until the sauce is completely smooth and all spices are fully incorporated. Ensure there are no lumps and the color is uniform.
Taste and Adjust
  1. Taste the sauce and adjust seasonings as needed. You might want to add a pinch more salt, a dash more maple syrup for sweetness, or a bit more apple cider vinegar for tang, depending on your preference.
Serve or Store
  1. Serve immediately with your favorite vegan nuggets, fries, sandwiches, or salads. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

This sauce is best enjoyed chilled. Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. For an extra kick, a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper can be added. If you prefer a thinner sauce, you can add 1-2 teaspoons of plant-based milk (like unsweetened almond milk) while whisking.
