Ingredients

Main
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 10 oz corn, drained canned
  • 10 oz cream of mushroom soup canned
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded Colby‑Jack cheese
  • 30 oz frozen crispy crowns or tater tots

Equipment

  • Skillet (oven‑safe) or baking dish

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F.
  2. Brown ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium‑high heat. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, parsley, and onion powder. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, drained corn, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Stir until evenly combined.
  4. Spread mixture evenly, top with a little more cheese, then arrange tater tots (or crispy crowns) over the top in a single layer.
  5. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until tater tots are golden‑brown and crispy.

Notes

You can substitute crispy crowns with regular tater tots, and use whatever cheese blend you prefer.
