Prepare the Big Mac Special Sauce
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika until well combined. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary. Cover and refrigerate while you prepare the sliders to allow the flavors to meld.
Cook the Ground Beef
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it is fully browned. Drain off any excess grease. Season the cooked beef with salt and black pepper.
Assemble the Sliders
- Carefully slice the entire block of Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
- Spread about half of the prepared Big Mac special sauce evenly over the bottom rolls.
- Evenly layer the cooked ground beef over the sauce.
- Place the halved American cheese slices over the ground beef, ensuring each slider bun section is covered.
- Sprinkle the chopped dill pickles and diced white onion evenly over the cheese.
- Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
- In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt the unsalted butter. Brush the melted butter generously over the tops of the slider buns.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the buttered tops of the buns.
Bake and Serve
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tops of the buns are lightly golden brown and toasted.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual sliders.
- Serve warm with the remaining Big Mac special sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can toast the slider buns lightly before assembling. These sliders are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
