- Peel the bananas and break them into chunks. If using frozen bananas, toss them in straight from the freezer.
- Add the bananas to a blender along with the cocoa powder, Greek yogurt, milk, and honey or maple syrup.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk and blend again.
- Once you achieve your desired consistency, taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra twist, swirl in nut butter or sprinkle on chocolate chips. If making for kids, serve with a fun straw or top with whipped cream.
