- If using fresh pineapple, peel and chop it into small chunks. Rinse the blueberries.
Blending
- In a blender, combine the blueberries, pineapple, yogurt, banana, and your choice of milk or juice.
- If you like your smoothie sweeter, drizzle in some honey or maple syrup.
- Blend on high until everything is smooth and creamy. Add more milk if it’s too thick.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or fruit as desired; blend again if making adjustments.
Serving
- Pour your smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For a thicker smoothie, use frozen fruits. You can add spinach or kale for extra nutrition without compromising flavor. Try using avocado for creaminess. This smoothie can also work as a base for smoothie bowls topped with granola, nuts, and seeds.
