- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl.
- Use a fork to mash the avocado until it’s smooth but still has a few chunky pieces for texture.
- Squeeze in fresh lime juice and mix well to add flavor and prevent browning.
- Finely chop the cherry tomatoes, red onion, and cilantro, then fold them into the avocado mixture.
- Taste and season with salt as needed, adjusting according to your taste.
Notes
Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored covered with plastic wrap to minimize browning for up to 1 day. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
