Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with cooking spray or butter.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced strawberries gently to avoid overmixing.
Baking
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool in the pan for around 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Glazing
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with a splash of milk and a little vanilla.
- Dip the cooled donuts into the glaze and allow it to set before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. These donuts can be frozen for up to 2 months. Make sure donuts are fully cooled before glazing to prevent the glaze from sliding off.
