  • 1/2 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional, for extra crispiness

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced onions with olive oil, salt, pepper, and cornstarch if using.
  3. Spread the onions in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
