- Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter onto parchment paper and place in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Flip halfway for even cooking.
- Whisk together the glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm fritters if desired.
Notes
These fritters are best served fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a crispy texture.
