Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips optional

Instructions
 

  • In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  • Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  • Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds, or until the cake rises and is set in the center.
  • Let cool slightly before enjoying. Serve as is or with a scoop of ice cream.

Notes

Microwave times may vary, so start with 60 seconds and add more time if needed. Be careful, as the mug will be hot!
