- In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
- Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds, or until the cake rises and is set in the center.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying. Serve as is or with a scoop of ice cream.
Notes
